How to play divx videos on firefox

Standard

If you try to see a movie from stagevu, VidXDen or another website which streams videos with the divx codec, perhaps didn’t realize yourself how easy is to get it work.
Windows fellows basically have DivX Web Player to make windows browsers work, we have the allmighty mplayer to accomplish the same result…
Simply do this
$ sudo pacman -S gecko-mediaplayer
And now all your gecko-based browsers and some WebKit-based brosers will work (at the moment, Google forbid gecko-mediaplayer to work with this browser, so it doesn’t work with Chrome/Chromium).

Done. Happy playing!
